of awesome things that are happening in life:

• Getting back finger strength from playing guitar feels so good!
• Getting back into shape, being able to run 10 km again feels so good! ^^
• I entered my first Starcraft 2 tournament (EU CraftCup), got absolutely demolished but it felt great.
• I've actually gotten into gardening. Flowers look cool, man. They sometimes smell good, too. They're like the poor man's Heidi Klum [baddum tish]! Yesterday I planted jasmine in a big ass pot right outside my bedroom door. It's gonna get legen...wait for it to grow all over the balcony and be...dary!
• Starting Monday, I have some spare time to devote to actual research, infosec and otherwise. Going to start off with a) working on some 3G/LTE "issues" and b) looking into performance evaluations of using different runtimes for application development in a large system, like an LTE gateway, etc.
• Getting a date really lifts your spirits in a weird kind of way - I'd forgotten. I'm not particularly excited about it but hey, enough time wasted wallowing in nostalgia and self pity.
• Summer's here, and swimming is awesome. Plus the sundresses. The sundresses, Ted!
• Travelling. Finland for a week (soon), Brucon in September.
